HTBA takes a firm step toward corporate sustainability by joining the UN Global Compact

Apr 24, 2025

HealthTech Bio Actives (HTBA) has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact, a worldwide initiative promoting corporate sustainability. With this move, HTBA strengthens its commitment to ethical business practices and embraces a responsible growth model that puts people and the planet at the center.

A commitment to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact

By joining the Global Compact, HTBA publicly commits to aligning its strategy and operations with the Ten Universal Principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. This means actively supporting the protection of human rights, eliminating unfair labor practices, promoting environmentally responsible management, and acting with integrity in the face of any form of corruption.

In the words of Alexandre Valls Coma, CEO of HTBA: “This commitment is more than just a statement of intent—it’s a practical guide for our day-to-day decisions. We embed these principles into our corporate culture, our relationships with key stakeholders, and our business vision. For us, sustainability and profitability go hand in hand.”

Sustainability as a driver of transformation

HTBA’s decision to join the Global Compact is part of a broader strategy focused on sustainability and innovation with a positive impact. The company has already demonstrated this commitment through tangible actions, such as investing in sustainable production processes and developing natural ingredients using environmentally respectful methods.

HTBA will continue working proactively to implement and measure the impact of these principles across all areas of its value chain, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with all its stakeholders.

Building a fairer, more equitable future

Since its inception, HTBA has grown into an international benchmark without losing sight of its roots and social responsibility. With this new commitment, the company reinforces its position as an ethical leader in the industry, laying the foundation for a more just, inclusive and sustainable future.

Joining the UN Global Compact not only reaffirms HTBA’s vision as a responsible but also strengthens its long-term commitment to global well-being and environmental stewardship, positioning the company at the forefront of a new business paradigm for the 21st century.
